September Recap:

Last month Jr. Davis attended 2 events at the University of Central Florida during National Construction Appreciation Week (Sept. 18-22). We attended a Career Mixer for the Civil, Environmental, and Construction Engineering Department, as well as the UCF Intern/Career EXPO. We met some great people who may become potential teammates!


What’s New

You may notice some updates around our website, one of which being this video on the home page. There are also more projects updated with many more to come, this way we can keep updated in our celebrations as projects come to an end. Our careers tab now includes an internship section as well as the job postings.

October is known as Careers in Construction Month, a month-long celebration of the rewarding career path of this industry.

Monday, October 16, is National Boss Day; in anticipation we thank all those hardworking men and women who oversee any number of employees. You are encouraged to show your appreciation for them on this day.

Teammate Spotlight: Craig Foster

The first teammate spotlight is our Safety Director

Craig Foster has been with JDC for 5 years, as Safety Director he manages all aspects of safety, field supplies, and DOT. His favorite thing about the company is the professional work environment.

The 2023 FTBA (Florida Transportation Builders’ Association) Safety Award was awarded to Jr. Davis Construction for an Outstanding Safety record in 2022.
