What’s New

In honor of the Thanksgiving season, mark your calendars for a special event that will warm your hearts and spirits as Thanksgiving approaches – our Thanksgiving Sunrise Service on November 22^nd at 6 a.m.

Every Thanksgiving, JDC gives back. We will be hosting our annual food drive throughout November to support the local community. Please consider donating perishable items to any of our office locations by November 22^nd. Let’s make a difference in our community this holiday season.

Internship opportunities at JDC allow aspiring professionals to gain valuable learning experiences in a robust and dynamic program, while prioritizing school first. Tiago De Melo Cameli (pictured to the left) has been part of the program for a month: “JDC provides opportunities to grow and learn”. The recent addition of our Project Engineer intern program comes from the University of Central Florida and plans to have a career in Construction Project Management. We have made great connections with UCF and are proud to have a student committed to learning and growing within the field.

October Recap:

The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to increase awareness of the disease, raise funds for research and support, and honor survivors and those lost to the disease. JDC showed support on October 20th by wearing pink as a symbol of solidarity and support.

On October 27^th, we hosted an office Fall Luncheon at all our locations. We had an office-wide costume/pumpkin decorating contest. JDC is dedicated to fostering camaraderie and creating a workplace you want to work at.

Teammate Spotlight: Nadal Exume

This month’s teammate spotlight is one of our Pipe Foreman, Nadal Exume.

Nadal Exume has been with JDC for almost 18 years. As Pipe Foreman, he is responsible for supervising his crew. His biggest goal is to “get it done!”. His favorite thing about JDC is the people, “I love it, I really can’t complain I mean I’ve been here for almost 18 years. I just love the environment.”
